GOOD FRIDAY MORNING FREO!

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on April 19, 2024

Are they sky boats up there at Mews Road in the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour?

Yep, the sky is still so blue, and it is still very hot so close to winter, but this Loopy shooter keeps finding beauty in the ordinary. 🥳

And workers putting new pillars in the commercial section of the harbour.

What a lovely sunrise this Sunday morning. It is going to be a pretty warm day, so make sure to get out and about and explore beautiful Fremantle, and support our traders.

STUNNING SUNRISE OVER FREMANTLE

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on December 13, 2022

There are no lazy sleep ins for Loopy, the infamous Freo social media mogul. He is out and about 24/7 to offer the esteemed readers of Freoview the best and exclusive news of what is going on in our lovely port city.

So out on the balcony Loopy went at 5am this morning to take photos of the beautiful sunrise. Photos taken looking south east toward Beaconsfield. The building on the left is Fremantle Hospital.

But where were the predicted storm and thunder, that BOM had forecast?

CLOUDY AND HOT

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on November 30, 2022

Lovely clouds above Fremantle this morning. It’s going to be 32C but it looks as if there is a bit of humidity in the air.

For those who are already complaining about the heat, have a thought for my former partner Brigitte, who is back in Melbourne for a few months. She went to bed with a hot water bottle last night, she told me, because it is so cold there.

MORNING HAS BROKEN

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on February 12, 2022

Lovely small white clouds early this morning when I walked to Chalkys cafe. A photo of the Tourist Wheel on the Freo Esplanade, taken at 6.45am.

…and a THANK YOU! to Michael Dellers of Fremantle Tours, who made me aware that the names on the pods of the ferris wheel are by artist Sam Bloor, and part of the Undertow exhibition that is at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

FREO CLOUDY BUT FINE?

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on December 21, 2021

Lots of clouds over Fremantle this morning, and I just heard some thunder at 10.15am, so not sure if it is going to be as hot as the forecast predicted. Might we even have rain and should I delay my walk to South Freo?

CLOUDY BUT HOT FREMANTLE

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on November 21, 2021

It was already quite hot and a bit sticky this morning when I went for coffee and a walk, and the many white clouds showed there is humidity in the air. It looked great though.

POINT STREET CARPARK ART

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on March 26, 2021

Looking at great art always inspires me to be even more aware and vigilant when I walk the streets, so coming back from the stunning REVEALED Aboriginal art show at the Freo Arts Centre I noticed the morning sunlight just right to create this almost 3D image of a small section of the Point Street carpark.

THE FREO PORT LEGEND AND THE CLOUDS

Posted in Uncategorized by freoview on September 9, 2020

Charles Yelverton O’Connor, the designer of Fremantle Port, looked quite impressed with the beautiful clouds over our port city this morning.

Just another day in Freo paradise.

The Freo day started with the amazing sea fog weather and ended with a sky full of small clouds. It looks like there will be quite a bit of humidity on Thursday as well, so maybe we’ve got some more interesting skies ahead of us.
