What a lovely sight to see hundreds of cockatoos on the Esplanade and Marine Terrace during my walk to Chalkys cafe in High Street for my very early morning double espresso.

The Pipes for Fremantle contractors were finalising the road surface in High Street, but the road should be open for traffic between Market Street and Henry Street by 9am, so in time to welcome shoppers.

It’s not only children who like the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions and the re-opening of playgrounds, as this photo of the cockatoos taken at the Fremantle Esplanade this morning shows.

There are heaps of these beautiful birds in Freo currently. They are noisy though. ;>))

Beautiful to see so many white cockatoos darting all over Fremantle. They are so noisy and full of life.

The Nankeen Herons were out in force on the Fremantle South Mole early this morning in the hope to get a fish from a lonely angler.
