CLINT CREATOR OF GREAT WOOD WORK
Fremantle has many hidden treasures and many of them are in historic High Street. One of them is Port Jarrah, that has been operating in Fremantle by South Fremantle resident Clint Clarke, for twenty years.
Clint is a real creative and professional craftsman, who makes beautiful furniture out of Western Australian wood, such as Jarrah, Sheoak and Marri. His work can be admired in the rooms of the National Hotel, just down the road from his shop, but also in the churches of Christ Church Grammar and Trinity Grammar .
A lot of Clint Clarke’s work is custom-made on commission for customers all over Australia, and he often sends his creations overseas as well.
The shop at 45 High Street is open from Wednesday-Sunday, so go and have a look. There is plenty on offer in the large showroom, and if you require anything else, chat with Clint if he can make it to your specifications.
