FREO ARTIST WINS PRESTIGIOUS BANKWEST ART PRIZE

Congratulations to Fremantle artist Jurek Wybraniec who won the $ 30,000 Bankwest Art Prize last night with his minimalist painting Yellow (panels 1 to 12)

Jurek is a very well-known artist who has exhibited all over the world and he rarely participates in awards, so this one is very special for him.

The work is made of automotive paint on laser etched acrylic and aluminium panels and is a reference to old-fashion cinemas.
