Here the latest update from Pipes for Fremantle about road closures in the West End:

Due to forecasted wet weather conditions, construction work on High Street between Henry Street and the Roundhouse is now scheduled to start on Thursday 25 June, and the full length of High Street will now be closed to traffic from Thursday 25 June to Saturday 4 July.

The full length of High Street is still on schedule to be completed the week of 27 July.

This work will result in the following updated impacts:

Full High Street closure:

At this stage, the whole length of High Street will be closed to traffic between Thursday 25 June and Saturday 4 July. Please note that these dates are dependent on weather and we will endeavour to complete this work before 4 July. We will update you if these dates change.

Construction fencing will come down along High Street between Market Street and Henry Street on Friday 26 June and event fencing will be in place until Saturday 4 July to allow for reinstatement work. Footpaths will be fully accessible and most machinery will be removed from this area from Friday 26 June.
Intersection and partial road closures:

High Street at the intersections of Pakenham, Market and Mouat Street will have closures this week.

Pakenham Street between Leake and Bannister Streets will continue to be restricted to local traffic and deliveries only.

These closures will also be in place during the week of 29 June. However, the exact dates for each of these closures will be dependent on weather.
