It has been heart-warming to see so much heritage preservation going on Fremantle in lately. I reported earlier about 10 High Street, and here now photos of the building on the corner of Pakenham and Nairn streets, and the bottom one is in Henry Street.
The owners of all three buildings received a grant from the WA Heritage Council to achieve the wonderful outcomes, but some minor work is still to be done.

I bet the owners of the Pakenham/Nairn Street project are breathing a huge sigh of relief that Dingo Brewery has abandoned its boozery (sorry, tavern) proposal for 47 Pakenham Street. Well done to the local community.

It already looks fantastic, Brian. Looking forward to the final result.

There is still painting to be finished at 56 Pakenham .
The heritage grant was welcome but was only around 20% of the cost of the restoration. The other 80% was funded by the owners
