There is an interesting light exhibition upstairs at Mills Records at Fremantle’s Kings Square as part of the HIGH TIDE biennale for this year’s Fremantle Festival.

Zora Kreuzer and George Howlett have created the site-specific light installation Faded Neon.

The High Tide blurb reads as follows:

Working collaboratively with recycled music industry paraphernalia, the artists will ‘live’ in Mills Records. For 72 years this building has been a continuous and rich hub for music and culture in Fremantle.

Howlett and Kreuzer become the gatekeepers of the gallery and adjacent lane, while light and colour inform in the production and distribution of music. This is a dance between artists, light and the building in the iconic Mills Records.
