There is always something special at ECOBURBIA on the corner of Livingstone and Beard streets in Fremantle’s Beaconsfield.

Shani Graham and Tim Darby are two of the most community-minded people in Freo, and Tim has excelled at becoming one of WA’s best sand sculptors.

Go and take the kids around to have a look at this beauty which Tim just created! This one is double as good because Tim had to build it twice when the first one collapsed.

It does not come more Freo than this! What a lovely scene this afternoon at the new Paper Bird children’s book shop in Henry Street where a small part of the street had been turned into a sandpit for kids to be creative in.

The book shop commissioned Tim Darby and Shani Graham of Ecoburbia fame to create some sand sculptures and Tim did not forget to put the bird logo of the shop on the bottom right of his artwork. He told me he would also include a book or two.

Great to see a popular event that did not require booze or noise. Loved it!
