CONCERT ABOUT HUMANITY

Posted in australia, fremantle, perth by freoview on October 17, 2010

The fund raising CONCERT FOR PAKISTAN held at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Saturday afternoon was a brilliant day.

It was one of those days, when you love being part of the human race. When people from all parts of life come together for a common goal, and that goal is to help people from a far distant country. People we have never met and are unlikely to ever meet, from a country most of us have not been to.

It was a day when there were no egos, and there was no greed. No one was going to make personal gain from being involved. It was simply, and all about, trying to give a bit of help to the flood victims in Pakistan.

All the musicians and performers played for free, all the volunteers gave up all of their Saturday, just because each and everyone believed that it is our duty in this world to share and care and show compassion, no matter how far away those who need our help are.

It was a day where humanity shone in its brightest and most beautiful way, when politicians turned up and participated, and everything ran smoothly.

Thank you to each and everyone who was there. Thank you gorgeous kids for giving us so many reasons to smile, and thank you also to the grumpy old men, who never had a moment to be just that.

When there is so much respect and consideration amongst people, life is close to perfect. It shows how much can be achieved with goodwill, and how productive positive mindsets are.
