Blues&Roots

Have you got your tickets yet? Fremantle’s favourite music festival the BLUES&ROOTS is on in 11 days, Sunday March 29 with the John Butler Trio, Paolo Nutini, David Gray, Jurassic5, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Paul Kelly, etc.etc.

It’s on in Fremantle Park, so don’t miss it.

The 29th is going to be a very busy Sunday in Freo that will hopefully boost the coffers of our retailers. The Corporate Challenge is on early in the morning and the Fish Festival at Bathers Beach will be the grand finale to the Sculpture@Bathers art exhibition.

Sculpture@Bathers

Sculpture by Tony Jones

Only one more month to go until the fantastic SCULPTURE@BATHERS will start at Fremantle’s Bathers Beach again. This is a showcase tsunami of outstanding local talent from March 14-19  on our gorgeous inner city beach.

The inaugural S@B two years ago attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the West End and was a huge success, thanks to the initiative and energy of Kidogo Arthouse owner Joanna Robertson in collaboration with local art legend Tony Jones.

S@B will have a grand finale with the Fish Festival at Bathers Beach and Fishing Boat Harbour on Sunday March 29, so put it in your diary!
