FREMANTLE SAFETY OFFICERS SAVE LIFE

Posted in accidents, cars, city of fremantle, health, health&safety, local government, Uncategorized by freoview on May 22, 2019

Congratulations to the City of Fremantle Safety Officers who saved a man’s life on the Fremantle traffic bridge!

The man’s vehicle was involved in an accident and his airways got blocked so our very astute Safety Officers took care of that, cleared his airways, administered CPR, and kept him alive with a defibrillator on standby until the ambulance arrived.

Great job! Should we now call them Health and Safety Officers?

A MEDICAL HEALTH HAZARD

Posted in fremantle by freoview on August 19, 2012

One would have thought people lecturing and studying medicine have more common sense than putting a large A-Frame in the centre of the footpath at Henry Street to promote the Fremantle Notre Dame University open day. Surely it makes more sense to put the sign closer to the road and out of the way so that people in gophers or with prams don’t find it difficult to get through. It is also dangerous for blind people to have A-Frames in the middle of footpaths.

Unless this is a deliberate attempt trying to get some first aid practise. ; >)
