WALKING THE DOG AT MONUMENT HILL

walking the dog

Only two more sleeps until the ANZAC Day dawn ceremony at Fremantle Monument Hill, but when I noticed these photogenic clouds late this afternoon I had to find a nice spot to photograph them from.

The monument silhouetted against the sky would have done, but the couple walking their dog added a bit to the overall magic of the moment.

MEANWHILE AT KIDOGO

Posted in fremantle by freoview on December 16, 2013

A picture tells a thousand words, so what is the little dog at Fremantle Kidogo Arthouse expectantly waiting for? Does it know about the big Christmas surprise the gallery is going to reveal later this week? Stay tuned!

FREO’S PACKED DOG

Posted in fremantle by freoview on September 22, 2013

That delightful gentleman Brian Smith worked as my unofficial and unpaid photo spotter today at the South Fremantle GROWERS GREEN MARKETS, and made me aware of this dog with the bags. Kiwi carries stuff for the baby in there, his owner told me.

Posted in fremantle by freoview on September 11, 2012

ILA the lovely kelpie dog that was lost near Fremantle‘s Rouse Head is back home! The little darling found her way to the home of owner Angie’s brother last evening.

I know everyone will be happy for Ila and Angie.

Thank you to everyone who shared the search info on Facebook pages, etc. Much appreciated by Angela Coote

DOG TOO BIG FOR FREMANTLE CAFE

Posted in fremantle by freoview on July 20, 2012

This huge dog was outside the tiny BLINK Cafe in Fremantle‘s High Street this morning, nursing a sore leg and looking a bit sorry for himself. Blink is the tiniest Freo cafe where one can only sit outside as not more than 4 people can be inside, and that only when standing. The dog would almost have filled the space.

Blink serves fantastic coffee, so it is very popular with Notre Dame uni staff and students. As far as I am aware it is the only alfresco only cafe in the city.

I have to admit I have started to look out for dog photos since my blogger mates Nicholas from abeautifulcity and Michael from thefremantledoctor posted dog stories on their blogs. Check out their blogs!

FREMANTLE SMILES

Posted in fremantle by freoview on April 30, 2012

Inspired by my Fremantle blogger mates Michael of thefermantledoctor and Nicholas of abeautifulcity, I took this sweet shot that sums up Freo in many ways.

What better way to start the week than with a smile.

FIDEL’S DOG IN FREO

Posted in fremantle by freoview on April 10, 2012

Waiting for left over bacon or sausage, or just for its owner, this dog sat patiently outside Fidel’s Cafe in Fremantle‘s Essex Street, enjoying the early morning sun.

LOST YOUR DOG LAST NIGHT?

Posted in fremantle by freoview on December 13, 2011

If your dog ran away in Fremantle last night because the thunder scared the hell out of her, a friend of mine found her! Contact KULCHA and ask for Simone if your dog is a short hair, friendly female.

THIS DOG NEEDS YOUR LOVE!

Posted in fremantle by freoview on March 8, 2011

I RECEIVED FOLLOWING EMAIL. IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE DO:

Today I would like your help with this gorgeous little dog called Tom. On Wednesday Tom was going to be put to sleep, but a work mate and I wanted to ‘save’ him. Tom needs a forever loving home or a foster home by Monday.

He is a maltese/shitsu cross. White and light brown/beige. He is about 7 years old, but acts like a 4 year old.

Tom belongs to a client of my mine. Unfortunately she cannot keep him anymore because she has to move house.

I love this super little dog and have known him for 3 months. I cant have him as I now have 4 (rescued) cats and am not at home much.

Please help us… by sending this on to all your friends.

You can email me on jenny-wren @tpg.ocm.au or mob 0402437612.
