STUDIO 37 CAFE SATURDAY BREAKFAST

Posted in cafe, food, fremantle, Uncategorized by freoview on June 16, 2017

My mate Tom at the lovely STUDIO 37 Cafe in the PS ART SPACE in Pakenham Street is now open for Saturday breakfast from 8 am till midday, so go and enjoy great coffee and food in the cavernous heritage space that often has fantastic art exhibitions.

Several offices, including Centrelink have closed in Pakenham Street so there is plenty of parking in the area.

The cafe is just twenty metres from High Street.

The Ride To Work breakfast was held at Fremantle Kings Square this morning and was appreciated by many cyclists who turned up for yummy South American baked beans and eggs, muffins and great coffee while checking out electric and cargo bikes.

Nice to see City of Fremantle CEO Phil StJohn up and about early and enjoying a hearty breaky.

It’s the Queebee long weekend so plenty of time to enjoy Fremantle, rain or shine.

The start of the school holidays is also the start of very special sheep shearing demonstrations at the Growers Green Farmers Market, so don’t forget to take your children there tomorrow. The shearing by Farmer Damian will be on from 11. And Damian is happy to put a chicken on your head or shoulder as well!

There is great food at this fantastic market in Lefroy Road, Beaconsfield, and plenty of parking for those who don’t want to walk or ride their bike.

See you there!

NEW SWAN RIVER COMMUNITY MARKETS ON SATURDAY

Posted in fremantle, markets, perth by freoview on October 13, 2015

Swan River Community Markets

I don’t often promote things that are happening in Perth because Freo’s View is a Fremantle, blog but the new SWAN RIVER COMMUNITY MARKETS at the new Elizabeth Quay is managed by our own Freo’s Kylie Wheatley of Red Tent Events and I’ll be the supervisor, so come along and support us!

We are starting this Saturday October 17 from 8 am till 1 pm. Not ideal for me because it is Council election day, but that’s just the way it is.

Leave your car at Murdock station and hop on the train to the Esplanade station and you’ll be there, or take the train from Freo to Perth and walk 15 minutes from there to the Belltower.

And all of you from all over Perth, please do come and support the market as it is a six-week trial, so if you don’t turn up the market will not continue.

See you on Saturday! SHARE THIS POST PLEASE!

SUNDAY FUN DAY IN FREMANTLE

Posted in cars, concerts, fremantle, markets by freoview on October 3, 2015

The West Coast Eagles playing in the AFL Grand Final today probably means there is an official day of mourning in Fremantle, so why not have a great Sunday and get rid of the footy hangover.

Start with breaky, great coffee, fresh produce and heaps and lots of things at the delightful BIG GROWERS GREEN FARMERS MARKET, open from 8-12, move on to Kings Square to have a look at the future of motor vehicles-electric cars at the EV Festival, and from there walk on to the Fremantle Arts Centre for the first of this season’s Sunday Concerts from 2-4 pm.

Have fun in one of the best places on the planet!
