Early summer has arrived at Bicton Bath with a colourful artwork by Fremantle father and son artists Tony and Ben Jones. The three-metre high bathers are ready with towels in hand to enjoy a dip in the Swan river pool.

MOODY RIVER SUNSET

Posted in fremantle, photography by freoview on September 3, 2013

When I noticed it was getting hazy over Fremantle, and the light all soft late yesterday, I could not stay at home and went for a drive and walk along the river. It was heart warming how many people wanted to engage and made remarks about the stunning big sun. Here a couple of photos I took near the Bicton Bath.

PIGRAM BROTHERS AT BICTON

Posted in fremantle by freoview on February 2, 2011

The highly popular yearly free BROOME TO BICTON concert by the Kimberley based PIGRAM BROTHERS is on again this month at Quarantine Park, just above the Bicton Bath, from 4.30 p.m. on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27.

There is always a really good atmosphere at these family concerts, and the joy of listening to relaxing music while watching the sun set is special. Bring a rug and a picnic and listen to the good music of this Aboriginal group.
