QUIET HOUR AT FREO LIBRARY TO ACCOMMODATE SENSORY CHALLENGES

The City of Fremantle Library is introducing a Quiet Hour every Wednesday between 11am and 12 noon, to better accommodate people with sensory challenges.

FREMANTLE CHARITY FROGS AUCTIONED

Four Fremantle Kidogo Art House artists have painted frogs for a silent charity auction to raise funds for the Learn Foundation in Aid of Austism Australia. The auction will be held today, Saturday April 28 at 6pm at Kidogo.

Participating artists are Joanna Robertson (Director), Betsy Bush(Student), Krocette (David Prior- Aboriginal Artist) and Lindsay Pow (Lecturer).

Each of the frogs represents a person or a sponsor. Joanna’s frog was signed by “The Green Machine” – Boxing legend Danny Green, Betsy’s frog was signed by “Pink Tank” company representatives, Krocette’s was signed by the Perth Glory team and Lindsay’s was signed by the Western Force.

One never knows if when one buys one of the frogs one actually buys a prince, so go and support the event this evening!
