The City of Fremantle Library is introducing a Quiet Hour every Wednesday between 11am and 12 noon, to better accommodate people with sensory challenges.

Great idea!

Indeed, Glenn, libraries used to be the very quiet places where even whispering was frowned upon.

In the day, every library hour was a quiet hour, and it was great.
Maybe they should revert back to that and have one hour for noise and the rest are quiet hours instead.
