traffic calming 1

traffic 2

The traffic calming along South Terrace in South Fremantle has become a bit more creative with the City of Fremantle painting red patterns on the road near the intersection with Lefroy Road.

It looks great CoF!

Hayfever is a problem in spring. I do get it at the Fremantle Arts Centre and at Kings Square where the plane trees are, but that is just part of life.

Not more horrid plane trees though? Please no.. I will have to avoid that area at certain times of year when they give me (and many others) hayfever.

I know WA has a lot of stupid motorists, Steve, but I doubt anyone is so brain dead that they would follow those lines, as it is very clear that they are decorative rather than directional.

I’m no expert on road rules but I can’t believe this is up to code. Seems like it would be very confusing for the motorists and if they follow the lines it would send them straight into pedestrian areas. The art looks great but doesn’t exactly look safe.
