Graffiti vandalism has been rampant in Fremantle from North to South over the last weeks.

The inconsiderate morons don’t care that it cost the community millions of dollars to clean up the stupid tagging rubbish they spray onto every surface they can find.

And the illegal bill posting of massive posters that promote music gigs is also highly annoying and not on.

Their total lack of respect for property and people is unbelievable and unacceptable!

Graffitti is nothing more than visual rubbish. It’s as bad and as ugly as the footpath full of plastic cups, cigarette butts and other litter. Unfortunately a lot more difficult to clean up but perhaps less polluting.

“Graffiti is a pretentious subcultural backbeat that is replicated everywhere in much the same style, the same chunky lettering and coded messages. It is boring and expresses a generalised contempt for community, kindness, and the weak.” Worth a read:

Roel, I couldn’t agree with you more. Graffiti and Taggers are worse than thieves. They are destructive and have zero consideration for anyone but themselves. Unfortunately there is no commitment to punish through things like community service the perpetrators 😡
