The former Woodside maternity hospital in East Fremantle has been sold to a consortium for $ 13 million, and will be developed into aged-care facilities.

The gorgeous building in Dalgety Street was built in 1902 and is considered a prime example of Victorian Italianate architecture.

My two kids can now apply for residency in about say 2065-ish. This will complete the circle, as they were born there in 1988; and 1993. Go Woodside!! (No, not the oil-gas company.)

Beautiful building.. bring more to them onto the street please? Could we find the tradesmen to even do it? May I suggest you try to take some photos inside?
