Two tall slim solar-powered lights have been installed at the northern end of Fremantle’s Bathers Beach near J Shed.

The small solar lights along the coastal path often have been vandalised because they are low on the ground, so this is much better.

Great work by Daniel at the City yet again. He understands the issues at Bathers Beach and is working very hard to fix them. Keep up the good work Daniel and thanks again.

The city of Fremantle has ordered new LED light fittings for all 36 lights along Market St and Sth Terrace (Cappuccino strip lighting). The illuminance levels will be increased, be more efficient and will reduce our power draw by 60%. Delivery is expected late August 2017.
