HIGH STREET MALL PAVING NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Posted in city of fremantle, shopping, Uncategorized by freoview on June 11, 2017

I don’t know who the contractors are who were digging up the High Street Mall in Fremantle in front of HBF and the 7/11 shop, but they left a mess as they did not reinstate the pavement properly.

That kind of good enough attitude is not acceptable, so come back and do a professional job gentlemen!

the entire length of high street from the mall to the roundhouse will eventually be repaved with ‘blurred’ edges, trees at each intersection, seating….a realistic shared street feel

    timeline….2027

Yes the mall is drab and it should be creatively modernised once the City of Fremantle gets more revenue from new buildings.

I agree with Robert ! To me the entire mall looks downright ugly not just the paving. I would rather see millions spent around town before the new St Johns development goes ahead.

In the first pic you can see the copper line pit adjacent to the damage. My guess would be dodgy brothers NBN contractors!

looks like a bit of soil settlement Roel but it is a safety hazard and needs to be fixed by 09.00 tomorrow if the contractors are on the ball or watch out for litigation

The paving right down High St should be relaid . Its all over the place whilst their at it.

Totally agree Roel … unsafe and ugly …and not acceptable ! A few injured locals or tourists = costly headache for C of F.
