GRAIN TRUCK OVERTURNS IN FREMANTLE

A large 12-wheel grain truck overturned this morning in Fremantle on its way to Fremantle Port at the notorious intersection of High Street and Stirling Hiwhway.

Traffic was diverted for many hours as two big tow trucks tried to get the grain vehicle back on its wheels.

The intersection has been overdue for an upgrade and State Government has held community sessions, but nothing has been done to improve the intersection, and that needs to be done with priority now by the new Labor government which stopped the Perth Freight Link.
