Freo's View

A great Sunday and a great turnout for today’s traditional yearly May Day event in Fremantle.

It was all about united workers’s rights, protection and solidarity and the Labor and Greens politicians turned up in numbers.

New WA Labor Premier Marl McGowan addressed the unionists, while new Freo Minister Simone McGurk and Federal Labor MP Josh Wilson watched on.

It’s probably the reality of these kind of events that people don’t come into Fremantle to do shopping, but just for the parade, entertainment and maybe to buy lunch somewhere, Robert.

Well it was a write off for retail unlike yesterday (Sat) which was possibly the best day since January.
I have to conclude that they must be under paid . Though they didn’t look it.
