Simone McGurk the Labor member for Fremantle has been appointed by Premier Mark McGowan to become the Minister for Child Protection, Women’s Interests, Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence and Community Services.

That’s a lot of portfolios, so good luck Simone!

    Hi Ian,

It is best to contact Simone McGurk’s office in Fremantle or at Parliament House as it is not guaranteed she will read this comment.
You can find all the details on the internet, so email or call her office please.

Hi Simone, my name is Ian Gibson from Armadale and i was in Swanleigh orphanage in the 1950,s and was abused physically and also sexually abused on a level which was on a scale of 1 to 10 it would have been 15, i have written out a statement and would like for you to read this and speak with Mark McGowan so he can help us people who this happened to and get the PM to get the Royal Commision up and running as we are not getting any younger, and for us to come out and declare this after 56 years is almost suicide for us, please email me back to see if we can do something about this, kind regards, Ian.
