Freo's View

Photography is soul music for me. Whenever I feel a bit down I go out and try to find good images. Taking creative photos makes me happy.

I took this one at the Fremantle East Street jetty today just before 7 pm.

Children should be seen and not herded?

That reminds me of a Sculpture by the Sea show in Cottesloe where security told a father his kids were not allowed to climb on the art and that it was clearly signed. The father said his children were too young to be able to read.

Great lighting, wonderful capture. It warms my heart seeing dogs taking their owners out for a walk. Years ago I had a beautiful somewhat scatty German Shepherd. He hated water, however on day he decided to swim in the Swan River and then run through a Bogan wedding party taking photos, then pausing upon his return to stop and spin his coat so to dry off. Suddenly, The Best Man advanced towards me from the mist of water droplets, muscles bulging, tats flashing with Murderous Intent in his thumb pressed eyes. He shouted: “This is a leash only area.. see the sign”. Fearing a good kicking, murder or decapitation, I replied kindly “he is a German dog, so he cannot read English”. The Bogan hit man stopped, thought (slowly) and returned staggering back to his harem of screaming wet ladies. Phew.
