Freo's View

From mid next year on Fremantle Council will become nomadic and hold full council and committee meetings all over Fremantle, due to the Kings Square project development.

When the council building demolition starts Fremantle’s elected members will meet in community halls and other venues for their public meetings, so expect to see them in the North Fremantle Community Hal, the Samson Recreation Centre, the Hilton PCYC, a Notre Dame uni lecture hall, etc.

This temporary solution will hopefully see a few more people engage with Council and attend meetings as they will not have to travel to the city centre to be part of the democratic process.
