CRAP SIGNS AT FREMANTLE MARKETS

Posted in city of fremantle, fremantle markets, heritage, tourism by freoview on November 26, 2016

Who on earth came up with the idea that the historic Fremantle Markets needs additional signs to make visitors notice it better?

These signs are awful and spoil photos people take of the heritage building, and they are totally unnecessary.

They are disrespectful and should be binned!

Photographed it before the markets opened when I drove by.

Standard of food in Freo. Some good, some bad, some average.

Roel’s photos prove that the markets were closed ! The banners say that the markets were open ! Perhaps the banners should name the market days.

Even so, can’t we find a more important topic to discuss ? … e.g. like the quality of food available at the restaurants around town.

Watching Rick Stein last Tues made me think that many of the menus are boring and need upgrading … and a few of the chefs need retraining.

Some of the fish (and pasta) served up around town is not up to standard.

Hi Roel, Wow gee, don’t hold back. I disagree… I am friends with a few traders at the Freo market and due to the Warders Cottages being boarded up for the best part of 5 years, I know the stalls inside the market needed something/anything to overcome people thinking the market were closed!

Out of control and unneeded management; marketing; merchandising.

    LOL, don’t hold back Roel!

PS I agree they are not doing the building any favours!!!

I agree on this one . However its endemic . There is so much sign-age polluting the public areas in Fremantle. The powers that be love it as the do with graffiti. Its giving a sence of place and character…. Choke
