SLOW PROGRESS AT FISHING BOAT HARBOUR

I suppose it’s short pain for long-term pain but the boardwalk works by Marine&Harbours at the Fishing Boat Harbour are processing very slowly.

Stage 1 is due for completion by December this year and Stage 2 by June next year, but it’s not a good look and must negatively affect the traders as people can’t walk from Kailis to Cicerello’s and Joe’s.

The deck is clearly a part of Kidogo Arthouse and used for the occasional Kelp Bar and for wedding and other functions. If nothing is on than it is just an empty big deck, but I have seen people sun bathing on it, using the building as protection from the sea breeze.

We were kicked off the Kidogo northern deck on Sunday and were told “its a private function”. So, not only is the deck illegal, its possible that the structure is being hired out !
