LAST NIGHT OF VERY FREO ECLECTIC MUSIC FEST

Posted in city of fremantle, concerts, culture, festival, fremantle, music, western australia by freoview on July 28, 2016

The Fremantle Hidden Treasures Music Festival is on again today for its last night this year. It is a very Freo event where old boozers and hiphoppers meet, where hippies dance with yuppies, and where baby boomers have a drink with the Selfie generation and where students meet workers. You might even find some Pokemon friends.

It’s diverse, eclectic, irreverent, multicultural, fun, and unique so if you haven’t been there the last three Thursdays, don’t miss tonight.

At the National Hotel you’ll find Bluegrass Parkway from 7.30 followed by Patient Little Sister at 9 pm and a special guest DJ from 11.15.

The funky old Buffalo Club has Elli Schoen from 8.15, followed by Southern River Band at 9.30 and The Floors at 10.45.

At Bar Orient The Spunlovers will be playing at 8 pm, from 9.15 pm it’s Squidfinger, and Human Buoy is on from 10.30.

Upstairs at the Navy Club is Morgan Bain from 9 pm and The Flairz Reunion from 10.15.

Last but not least you can enjoy the cavernous mood of the old PS Art Space warehouse in Pakenham Street with Golden Strings from 9.15, Sean O’Neill from 10.15 and Mei Saraswati from 11.15.
