THE WORLD OWES THESE GIRLS AN EFFORT TO SAVE THEM!

Posted in fremantle by freoview on May 6, 2014

I don’t understand the world. There is an international effort that costs a huge amount of money to find a crashed plane with dead people, but none to find 200+ Nigerian teenage girls kidnapped by religious morons. These girls might be raped, sold off as slaves or ‘wives’ and the international powerful world sits on its arse, probably because they are only poor and black and from a third world country, and nothing really special?

It disgusts me!!

Hostage rescue from heavily armed religious zealots, it could be bloody, at least the Yanks have had a decade + of experience? I hope it goes well for the girls and families.

It is absolutely essential that the world protests and the powers-that-be
    DO SOMETHING NOW.
You have only heard about this because the shocking number of 200 girls
have been kidnaped and another 12 yesterday.
You didn’t hear what preceded this appalling situation, because it has only been
numbers less than 20 in other kidnapping/killings, happening daily for years,
merely because people dared to have their girls educated.
Pres Jonathan Goodluck did nothing. He is still doing nothing.
Did you cop his wife sooking on the tele, after she had one of the female
protesters gaoled, who’s crime was to beg her to do something.
OOPS bad move for both, so Mrs Goodluck chucks on the tears when her
    disgusting action is publicised.
Boko Haram leader, Abubaker Shekau became bolder because he keeps
GETTING AWAY with murder and kidnapping.
Now he thumbs his nose at the world saying these girls are his slaves.
They will be impregnated to have more murderous terrorists like himself.
    DONT YOU GET IT.
The world must become involved. If you don’t care about these girls,
think about the future of your children as these children are forced to breed futureTerrorists.

Good news Roel the yanks are putting in security advisors code for CIA or special forces in civvies, police assistance and unidentified assets, that will be drones and god knows what.
Thankfully Nigeria has excepted an offer for assistance.
Also the EU has done what it does best and are discussing the tone of a sternly worded letter.
Sadly another dozen where taken yesterday.

Agree 100% with you Roel. We, as the people, are totally impotent. We rely on our ‘leaders’ to act for us. But they act in their own self interest. And who cares about a couple of hundred poor African girls, when the elected leader of our country can get a few seconds of international media attention, talking in his most sincere way about the search for the fate that befell our biggest trading partner.

I guess we thought the horrible shark cull was somehing we might be able to control. I did not realise Nigeria was so populated. Bit too complex to interfere. Agree with Mark.

Roel this is a democratic country, it has its own legal system, government, police, a population of over 170million.
What should we do send a nasty letter, put troops on the ground, invade, really?
It has plenty of issue’s, trying to a run a country with 20+ ethnic groups, plenty of conflicting religious groups, war lords, religious fanatics, the issues are endless.
Watch foreign correspondent tonight the Taliban shown using kids as mobile bomb platforms, the yanks invaded this place after all this time have things really changed? Is it better? How many $ trillion spent?
I may have mentioned this before on your blog, 1000 dead making cheap clothes for Australians, in just one incident no one really cares, but put a couple of fish hooks of Perth beaches to catch sharks and the up roar is incredible, its all about priorities? While I agree what has happened to these girls is a disgrace and should never happen but we will never solve the worlds problems, its been going on for centuries, its not likely to ever stop.
Ukraine has 1000’s dead and sadly more to come, Egypt is worse of than before the 1st uprising the list of screwed up countries is just increasing.
We can’t even ban clothes made from child slave labour from being sold in Australia.
I don’t think critizing the efforts to find flight MH370 is helping anything, finding the bodies for the families is one issue the other is find out what actually happened and to ensure it doesn’t happen again, isn’t protecting human life important? That we could possibly achieve?

I hope the rumours US Secretary of State, John Kerry, is going to send in the troops [FBI agents and experts in known terrorist organisations] to get back the girls are true. However, that depends on what Nigeria wants as well. Unbelievable stuff.
