PROTECT FREO’S UNIQUE IDENTITY AND CHARACTER

Posted in fremantle by freoview on July 17, 2013

Peeps is the new black, or something like that, so have you peeps sent your smelly socks to Premier Colin Barnett yet to tell him SOCK IT, COLIN! the Fremantle community does not want a mega-amalgamation with all of Melville and East Fremantle.

The Premier and Local Government and Communities Minister Tony Simpson are aware that the City of Fremantle’s preferred merger would be with East Fremantle and certain strategic smaller parts of the City of Melville and the City of Cockburn, more like the natural ‘hinterland’ of our city.

SO SEND SOCKS TODAY AND EVERY DAY TO COLIN BARNETT, 1 PARLIAMENT PLACE, WEST PERTH 6005! DO IT NOW!

PROTECT FREMANTLE’S UNIQUE IDENTITY AND CHARACTER.

No I haven’t read it Beth and like you I am very impressed with Eloise Dortch. She spoke very well at the Special Electors Meeting so I hope no one is trying to say nasty things about her!

I am fuming!!! Have just read post by Eloise Dortch on the “Save Fremantle Esplanade” Facebook page as Council have sent a letter to a resident on the reasons why the Esplanade was the preferred site for the Skateplaza. Fremantle Council you are an absolute embarrassment and dodgier than Kevin Rudd on a good day, my bul****t radar is truly working overtime. Council, you are the ones on the nose and therefore all smelly socks or even better, Sardines (we are Fremantle after all) should be posted directed to you!! Eloise Dortch, you have shown great tenacity and have stood your ground respectfully at all times even when you’ve been ferociously attacked and have had personal and derogatory insults thrown at you. They tried to wear you down, but you are truly in it and fighting for our beautiful park. Eloise, you truly are a role model for young and old alike and someone I would be happy for my child to look up to. You’ve shown that you must never give up when you believe a terrible injustice has been carried out.
Eloise, it is sad though that I haven’t heard your fellow Green Party Members come out in support of your fight, as really you are the only asset I see they have. That’s a real shame and smells to me of hypocrisy. Finally, we have an answer that everyone has been patiently waiting for, and boy it really shines a light on our Councillors ability to make good decisions/judgements on behalf of a very struggling Fremantle.
