BE PART OF FREMANTLE’S VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Posted in fremantle by freoview on May 16, 2013

The FREMANTLE COMMUNITY VISIONING PROJECT “FREMANTLE 2029” is on at Victoria Hall today, Thursday May 16 from 5.30-7.30, so come along and voice your opinion about what you’d like to see happen in our port city. What social services are lacking or need to be improved, how can we achieve to get more affordable housing in the city, what can be done so Notre Dame students can live here, why do we still not have an Indigenous Culture Centre, what do we want built on the Stan Reilley site, should the Cappuccino Strip be closed for traffic on weekends, is inner city high-rise desirable, how can we prevent Victoria Quay from becoming lots of boring boxes, what can be done so council communicates better with the community, how can the performance of the City administration be improved, etc.etc.

It should be a fascinating evening and I am looking forward to taking part in it.
