Posted in australia by freoview on October 2, 2012

Congratulations to Melbourne based Sonya Pemberton, sister of Fremantle councillor Rachel Pemberton. Sonya and her company won an Emmy Award in the News and Documentary section for DECODING IMMORTALITY, a documentary following the work of Nobel Prize winner Liz Blackburn. It was screened on SBS in Australia in 2010 titled Immortal.

Sure, no problem Rachel…. when it comes to vaccinations, I’ll be in line, er, right behind you! Possibly a couple of others…

OMG! Rachel’s sister is Sonya Pemberton? She just happens to be the Executive Producer of CRUDE – The Incredible Journey of Oil, my favourite DVD, and probably the highest commended Peak Oil movie ever made.

Ha! Can’t wait to tell my colleagues in the eastern states-based Peak Oil group. Teach them to push me around because I’m from WA – Sonya is one of ours!
