FUNKY FREO FESTIVAL

Fremantle artist Ian de Souza is planning a very different project for this year’s Fremantle Festival with a huge get together of all different art forms at the Moores Building in Henry Street.

De Souza is working on a huge show, with participation of body builders, belly and flamingo dancers, trapeze and tattoo artists, life drawing sessions with models, FTI filming and projecting events, etc.

If it all comes off it should be a fascinating event. Already Notre Dame, Curtin and Murdoch universities have shown interest in taking part in some way, so this might end up being one of the most innovative festivals Fremantle has seen in years.
