One of the final events of the Undercurrent Fremantle Biennale 2019 was a tour of red-coloured cars through the streets of Fremantle on Saturday at lunch time.

They gathered at the Beach Street carpark where I took these photos.

The Biennale ends with a party on the deck of the Maritime Museum this Sunday from 5pm. See you there!

SANTAS INVADE FREMANTLE

The third annual SANTA FUN RUN to raise funds for the Variety Club attracted nearly 2000 people on Sunday , who ran, jogged, walked and pushed through inner city Fremantle.

It is a really fun and feel good event so hopefully it will become a tradition in Fremantle and more people will take part in future years.

Here some impressions of it.

FAST FUN SANTA RUN

Posted in fremantle by freoview on December 5, 2010

The first ever Western Australian SANTA RUN was held on Saturday in Fremantle, with nearly 500 able and disabled people of all ages participating. The event was organised by the VARIETY CLUB and ran from South Beach to the South Fremantle Oval, where the runners enjoyed the hospitality of the Fremantle Dockers’ open day and the fireworks at 8pm.

There was even a very Australian Santa, riding an emu, people in wheelchairs, and a father pushing a pram with three children. It was a whole lot of fun!

A few art shots I took in Fremantle on the south mole this morning. I love minimalism.
