NORTH FREO’S HARVEST BECOMES HABITUE WINEBAR

Posted in fremantle by freoview on September 12, 2013

The lovely little HARVEST restaurant in North Fremantle has closed and the new owners will create the wine bar HABITUE in that location. No doubt that will become another success story for Theresa O’Toole and Garry Bennett who have been running the hugely successful BARQUE in George Street in East Fremantle.

From my perspective (unlike the previous commenter) this is very sad. Harvest has been the best and most adventurous restaurant I’ve been to in WA. Every meal I’ve had there has been great, and I regret that I wasn’t able to visit far more often.

Harvest was great for a long time and a lovely environment to be in as well, but it became a bit patchy at the end I have been told by a few people.
