FREO PEOPLE CLEVERER BUT LESS COMMITTED TO MARRIAGE
According to an article in the West Australian newspaper today Fremantle is becoming more intelligent but not much richer, while we don’t enjoy being tied down in marriage. The West analysed the Census surveys and found there was a “huge increase in education levels…” but that divorce rates were growing and the number of marriages falling. Maybe the “moderate income growth” in Freo makes it harder for couples to stay together?
Talking about relationships, and nothing to do with Census, the West gossips that lovely Fremantle Labor MP Melissa Parke is now in a relationship with Perth millionaire property developer Warwick Hemsley, who last year split up with Texan model Jerry Hall. That’s good Aussie Day news Melissa! I hope you’ll be happy together for a long time.
