FREMANTLE THUNDER
What a strange night it was in Fremantle. The easterly winds howling all evening and making it sound like thunder in the roof of my little Arthur Head cottage, but then came the real thunder and lightning around 4.30 a.m. Wow! What a light show.
How beautiful nature is, and how good we humans can’t control it and mess it up. I heard on the ABC that it was all over Perth from Kalamunda to Mandurah and created a bushfire in the Gnangara pine forest. Of course it also delivered some heavy showers, so the gardens are all smelling so good.
More wild weather is expected for this afternoon.
